<p>Does your Mac take FOREVER to encode a video file to MP4?</p>
<p>I found out about this product that uses hardware to encode MP4 a little faster (or a lot faster depending how old your Mac is). It&#8217;s an external (usb) device called the Elgato Turbo 264. It plugs into your USB, you load the software then basically your favourite encoding apps will use the hardware power of the device to take the load off your Mac&#8217;s CPU while it encodes. More power to the encoding! I&#8217;ve read some great reviews of the product. While I haven&#8217;t tested it myself it looks to be the goods, check it out:</p>
